Individual, sibling, and family counseling services are now available for children, teens, and adults with high-functioning autism spectrum disorder or for families of those diagnosed with autism. This service is for individual clients and family members who need help addressing specific concerns or having difficulty adjusting to life changes. Individual counseling is ideal for children, teens, and adults on the spectrum who are dealing with concerns that are best addressed in a one-on-one environment or for those clients who prefer this environment. Sibling counseling is provided to family members who need assistance with adjusting to their sibling’s diagnosis, or other family concerns. Family counseling services help support and guide the whole family in navigating the autism diagnosis and challenging family interactions. These services will be coming to the Schaumburg center soon!
