Laura received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis, from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2010. Laura's interest in working with individuals with developmental disabilities started at an early age of 16 while working as a nanny, where she first observed the outstanding effects that ABA therapy provided for children with autism. Inspired, Laura continued her work with children with developmental disabilities across a variety of settings, including therapeutic day schools, in home, and clinic-based. Over the years, Laura has gained experienced with teaching the foundational pre-learner skills through more difficult skills including theory of mind. She is passionate about her work and is motivated by the wonderful progress of the children she works with!
